I chose this picture as a representation of the great depression because it shows that people didnt have money to built or buy houses. In this picture here is shows that african americans where the most poor and poorly treated. They had to live in tents to survive and had so little food. In this photo it also shows it wasnt just one family, it was hundreds of African American familys trying to survive with the little that they have.
